Course overview
About this course
Scenario training gives operators a repeatable, well-documented way to fly more demanding missions. SOS-01 covers flying within visual line of sight over a controlled ground area in a built-up setting. SOS-02 covers extended-range flying supported by trained airspace observers. These scenarios are IDA training frameworks that map to the permissions and conditions set by DGCA; they are not a regulator licence.

India context
What to know in India
- Operations beyond basic rules need the permissions DGCA requires; IDA training does not replace those permissions
- Operators should keep records ready for audit
Drone rules in India are issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and managed through the Digital Sky platform. They change from time to time, so IDA admissions confirms the current requirement for your category and operation at enrolment.

Certification
What you receive
IDA scenario certificates (SOS-01 and SOS-02). Certificates are issued by International Drone Academy, part of World Skill University and powered by AIESF and WSSH Australia. Where a regulator licence or permission is also required, IDA explains the steps at enrolment.
Questions
